About us
We would like to introduce ourselves; we are Karin Perdaems and Marc Knipscheer. Both of us grew up in the arable farm of our parents. And at a young age we have already felt the passion of sowing, grooming and harvesting our crops. Our parents taught us everything about growing potatoes, onions, sugar beet and grains.
When we knew each other for a number of years, we wanted a new challenge. We found that in the Garlic crop. It was almost not grown in the Netherlands and we had to invent everything ourselves. A great experience with ups and downs, now, 15 years later, we know the tricks of growing delicious quality garlic. Under the name of BINK HOLLAND (Best In Dutch Garlic) we have set up a professional crop for consumption of garlic and seed potatoes. And from now on our garlic is also easily available from 1 August to 15 February via our webshop for everyone in the Netherlands and beyond.
From the very beginning in Stichting Veldleeuwerik we have further developed our vision on our company. At that time, sustainability was also an elusive concept for us. How different is that now, it is a continuous improvement that we continue every year and in which we continue to grow as a company and entrepreneur. Points of interest are sustainable soil management (the soil is the basis of everything), becoming as much energy neutral as possible and a natural cycle in our company, for example feeding our own grain to our chickens and returning the manure to the crops. We keep free-range chickens under the hallmark of the Beter Leven and IKB animal protection, and our crops under Skylark and Food Safety Certificate (www.veldleeuwerik.nl).
Polder Garlic is available for private and catering large consumption in 2 kg - 4 kg - 6 kg - 8 kg and 10 kg packed in nets of 2 kg.
